Hi
I can’t quite remember I think a week. Olive Garden you can save the voucher on to your phone, I’ve used vouchers on my phone at friendlys as well. Once at Miller’s they just got me to email it to them while we were there so they could print it.

I’d seen it mentioned in a few trip reports, glad we tried it.

It’s in islands of adventure very close to the entrance. At the end of the row of shops turn right. It’s easy to miss which is maybe why it does not get as much love as mythos.

Leaky Cauldron

With no clue what to do for dinner we thought it might be an idea to check out the Leaky cauldron to see if it was busy. There was no line so we thought we’d give it a go.

Ds ordered the kids fish and chips and a butter beer. He enjoyed all of this.

I had the bangers and mash, the sausages were pretty nice and the mash wasn’t bad and the peas were fine, the other veg was solid though.

Df had the toad in the hole. She said the same, her food was fine in general but the veg was solid as well. She had the peach fizzing tea and said it was really nice.

It felt a bit school canteen like but I’m glad we finally tried a Harry Potter place to eat. In terms of value Confisco Grill was way better value.

Croissant Moon

Breakfast was at croissant moon. We were starving again. We reactivated the old mug for df and got it a new straw as the old one had broke. we also bought a new one.

We all had croissants for breakfast.

Ds had ham, cheese and egg, df bacon, cheese and egg and I had bacon and cheese. All 3 were really nice and a perfect start to the day.

The food at the Leaky Cauldron doesn't look nice at all but I'm glad it tasted better than it looks! But why grapes on top of the fish n chips lol. Mmm greasy warm grapes...

As much as I love the Harry Potter areas at universal, I can’t even think about eating there - it’s just not holiday food in my eyes 🤣. I’ll take a frozen butterbeer (or 12) and eat somewhere else.

The croissants look good!

We liked the leaky cauldron for the theming , the food was ok and edible . Confisco still on my list though , no idea why we’ve missed this before though.

Panda Express

We were not to keen on having quick service on the park today so since we’d already decided that we would switch parks we thought Panda Express would be a good option.

Ds was happy with a kids meal as long as he got some extra. He had noodles, orange chicken and a Fanta.

I had the plate with 3 entrees. I had rice, orange chicken, black pepper chicken and wok fried shrimp. It was all lovely.

Df had the plate with 2 entrees. She had chilli chicken and chicken with mushroom. She really enjoyed both and split a chicken egg roll with ds.

A much more reasonably priced lunch.

Voodoo Donut

We passed Vodoo Donut on our way to Universal, there was no line so it seemed rude not to go in and have a wee sweet treat to finish off lunch.

The choice in there is so good. We decided that ds and I would share the Universal orange cream popsicle as this was our favourite last time and df decided to have the little pink. Both were delicious.
