Styling a fanny pack I didn't even know that was possible $40 would be more like $50 with tax and tips but it's amazing how many pay without thinking (like the turn up at Disney gates and buy tickets folk)
Thank you, it's a kindness, I'm primed to explode already tonight after a heavy dinner Just had a good look at Perkins, some of those breakfasts are massive Definitely tempted but I'm committed to IHOP tomorrow, DW has been craving crepes for some reason and I buggered up the IHOP journey last time, can't see them on the Perkins menu. Some of that buffet was pretty much stone cold Yes we had a great day today, posting up lunch in a minute - think . you'll like it

Lunch - Shake Shack (I-Drive) After a nice relaxing morning at Aquatica we decided to leave at lunchtime and grab something to eat on the way home. We ended up heading to the Shake Shack on i-drive (near the wheel - free parking garage there). Shake Shake is a DW favourite. On the way there I learnt that on a 4 day visit to Washington a few years back she had been to the same branch every day for a Shack Burger, fries and a shake...so she's a fan. For me, as gjdjud concluded in his pre-trip, it is overpriced, both in the UK and US restaurants. That said it is pretty good DW was visibly excited as we walked up to the counter. Picking from the menu while you wait to queue always induces panic here so take a look at this picture which has everything on it if you zoom in Don't Panic! That said, I was still looking at the board as she started to order and I could hear Shack burger, yes ok I'll have a double. Fries, a diet coke and a frozen custard. I came over and we decided one shared DC was probably enough and she didn't like the custard flavours so ended up with a strawberry milkshake instead. My order was a Smoke shack and fries. Thinking myself cunning and value conscious I didn't go for the double because I knew there was no way DW was finishing all that and Harry fancied his chances of a clean-up operation The interaction with the server concluding with DW declaring 'I love Shack Shack' to her. Here's the full tray. You get the food cooked fresh to order after one of those short buzzer waits, about 5 minutes in this case. So these burgers are very much on the juicy side and quite salty. DW is convinced they taste better with American beef and I think she's right after today. Hers was very thick obviously and she happily chomped through half before declaring the other half would be going home with her for later Think of a Shake Shack burger like a larger, gourmet version of a McDonalds cheeseburger and you won't be far wrong. Here's my (smaller ) Smoke Shack. Not quite as heavy a grease hit from the single patty but still very good, delicious actually and with a bit of bacon. This one also has a tiny bit of vinegary heat from the red peppers that I really enjoy. All in all The fries are crinkle cut and pretty decent. The cut seems to keep them warmer for longer too and they are always crispy. DW wasn't so keen on her strawberry shake saying it wasn't right. I thought it was okay, just not much strawberry flavour. This came to a steep $32 although it was really really nice so I'm a little torn. This branch of Shake Shack was pristine by the way, lovely seating area with booths and they even had a bar game for people waiting (didn't play but it looked like a sort of tabletop shuffleboard or something). After lunch we went back to the hotel for a break and then I made my first foray into Vineland Mall with DW. Escaped relatively unscathed, not much to report on the food front: Diet A&W root beer Receipt halfway to the bin before uh-oh...Mexy will be after me Then DW had an ice-cream (strawberry and vanilla) which was good and independently chosen from the same store in the food court (the A&W American one in the corner). After that we headed back. Dinner tonight is Kres Chophouse and may be fancy

Just caught up with your report and there's some nice looking food there especially the cheesecakes.
The food and wine festival at SeaWorld looks and sounds pretty dire which is a shame. You should try Perkins if you have time my husband loves the Eggs Benedict.

Lol at the receipt ...nice save 😂 we still can’t decide on aquatics . I have a feeling a certain opening of something Is going to dominate our holiday somewhat with a Jedi In tow
Shake shack is expensive and I thought 5 guys was dear 😬 looks nice though. Perkins is lovely food but the bakery is the best ever . Our go to in Vineland is Charley’s philysteaks. It’s lovely food and reasonable and the fries and strawberry lemonade are pretty awesome . Never gets mentioned on here so I’ll rectify that when I go .

The breakfast at Hilton looks uninspiring. Food for the day was saved by the burgers by the sounds of it.
Great updates.

The trouble with Disney us it can spoil you for other parks and the comparison didn't do SeaWorld any favours, we're trying the park proper today but may not he eating Perkins now a possibility as the crepe requirement has been relaxed.
Not long for you now, looking forward to following your epic trip when I get back. Thanks for commenting Aquatica you need to watch the extras, our ticket covered parking (we weren't sure where the walking entrance was) but otherwise its $25, we though towels would be included with an onsite hotel, $5 each for handtowels, $15 for the smallest locker etc. Your Jedi must be primed to explode with excitement by now, wish we were going! Never had a fill meal in the Vineland food court. Yesterday with sales on it was absolutely crazy in there You'll like dinner over at Kres Chophouse, it was a food one so the day had an upward trend I'll admit to having missed the FP craze, if i get the time to write it in between the meal updates (harder than I thought) Harry will be getting one to keep his avocados cool. Cheers all for reading and commenting, updates will be late UK time starting with last nights dinner (a cracker)
