Both of them have bought a couple of sets of ears. I’m sure it won’t be the last!

Thanks for taking the time and effort to update live!

Can't wait fir our stay at POFQ in September. We loved the resort last time. Sorry to hear the boat to Disney Springs was a faff, we loved that on our last trip. Same as the beignets which were much better with caramel sauce!

Thanks again and enjoy your trip :-)
Thanks for reading. It really is a lovely place

Ok. So the peanut pie has been eaten or shall I say attempted to.

I had it in the fridge over night. As soon as I picked it up it started to break apart As for taste it was incredibly rich. I love peanut butter and for me it was too much. I couldn’t eat it

Absolutely loving your report so far. What a shame about the peanut pie! We are hoping to visit Contempo Cafe next year for a Qs meal.

I’m really enjoying your report, was great to see a report on Chef Mickeys. We have this booked to pay OOP as our only character meal so I’m glad to see a good review. 😊

THE GARDEN GRILL EPCOT BREAKFAST

I wasn’t planning on anymore reviews today but the weather is poor today so I’m currently in the laundry room at POFQ waiting for some clothes to dry.

So we had an early start as usual for an 8am adr at The Garden Grill at Epcot. We loved this last time so we’re looking forward to going again.

About 7.45am we were let into an empty Epcot to make our way over to The Land where The Garden Grill is located.

Once checked in we were shown to our table straight away and were slightly disappointed to be shown to an inside table rather than an outside booth. If your unaware of this restaurant then it revolves very slowly around.

Our server was with us straight away and took our drink orders and explained about the meal. It’s family style all you care to eat very similar to Ohana from a couple of days ago. We were also told which characters we’d be seeing. Chip and Dale, Pluto and Mickey.

The drinks were served in cool mason jars. Coke for me, Orange for Kelly, Milk for Lily and apple juice for Evie.

We then had brought to us some fruit and Chips Sticky Bun cake which is a warm cinnamon bun with vanilla icing. This bun is a m a z i n g!

Soon the skillet was brought out which contained sausage, bacon, Mickey waffles, scrambled eggs and potato barrels. It was really good. There was also chocolate sauce, maple syrup and salsa.

We requested extra Mickey waffles. Well Kelly did

As we were the first adr of the day the characters came out really quickly and as usual the girls posed for photos but didn’t say much

It was a really good breakfast. My only issue was we probably did it too soon after the similar breakfast at Ohana. Having said that if I had to choose between them then it would have been Garden Grill.

An extra bonus was we went straight on to Soarin and rode the ride with no one else which was pretty cool

4 t/s used.

Not sure when my next update will be but back sometime in the next couple of days with some snack credits and a Teppen Edo.

Edited at 08:36 AM.

I haven't read many trip reports live from the laundry room top marks! I've seen a couple of videos of the rain yesterday and today - looked very heavy indeed.

Garden Grill looks and sounds great and that bun looks delicious

Hope you're all having a great time so far.

Chef Mickeys looks great I know there are often mixed reviews for it with regards to food quality but I feel like it’s somewhere I just ‘need’ to try! Lol

It all looks fab so far. Loving all the cinnamon buns.

We loved meeting Stitch at O’hana’s and had a great table by the window. It was great cos DS didn’t know we could meet Stitch and didn’t see him coming up behind. Didn’t book Chef Mickey last trip so that’s definitely on the list for next year and it looks like dinner could be a winner.

We’ve done Garden Grill for dinner but breakfast looks great and as we’re at YC and early breakfast adr could be on the cards.

I’m not a peanut butter fan so glad to see I can skip the pie lol.

Looking forward to reading about Teppan Edo. It was supposed to be my birthday dinner on our last night last trip but DS wasn’t feeling great so we had to skip it. It’s going on the list very early this time. You’re helping big time with my plans, thank you.

Hope Lily enjoyed her birthday, it’s a wonderful place to celebrate

We skipped the breakfast when we did Toy Story EMM, mainly because I felt queasy but also because nothing really appealed. I think I’d have gone with the chicken and donuts too. The pasty selection does look nice though, I love those turnovers.

I’m excited that you finally got to visit the Contemporary. We tend to avoid dinner buffets but Chef Mickey’s looks great, especially your carved beef.

Drooling over your Garden Grill photos, one of our favourites.
