MANNYS CHOPHOUSE 192

We’ve never had the chance to visit Mannys before so we were really looking forward to this. We have settled in at Encantada resort after moving from Universal. Mannys is just up the road from our resort so was the logical choice after unpacking and settling in into new resort.

I used the “call ahead” feature and rang to say we would be there in 10 minutes. The car park was very busy as we pulled in and there were a few people milling around outside. We checked in, said my name and were shown straight to a booth.

Rightaway we all liked the atmosphere and style of the restaurant. Our server came over and gave some menus and answered any questions. He was very friendly and pretty good throughout the meal but he did disappear at one stage for ages when we wanted some drinks.

The kids and Kelly were happy drawing on the paper on the table.

The menu was huge and again our eyes were bigger than our bellies. We keep on making the same mistake by getting appetisers but we couldn’t resist!

Kelly had the French onion soup which she said was absolutely lovely.

Lily wanted onion rings and these were fantastic. We all shared these.

Evie had mozzarella sticks. She enjoyed them.

I went for boneless hot chicken wings. These were huge! Really tasty but I left a couple due to fears of not being able to finish my main.

We were then given salad. We were a little confused if we ate it now or saved for our main. We saved it but to be honest wasn’t something we really needed. It was good though but we didn’t really want the egg in it.

For mains Lily had the chicken nuggets and fries. She didn’t really eat much again.

Evie had the chicken teriyaki that came with rice. This also came with another side and she chose fries. She really liked this.

Kelly had salmon which again came with the rice and another side and she chose and loaded baked potato. She thought this was lovely.

I had to have a steak. The only choice for me. I went to the 14 ounce ribeye. Cooked medium rare. I chose loaded mash as my side. This was good but if I’m being completely honest it still wasn’t up to the taste of the steak I had at Longhorn on our last visit.

Overall a fantastic meal. Wouldn’t be surprised if we end up back here again at a later date on this trip as it is so convenient for us and it’s really good. The service was good as well.

Overall this came to $130 including a 20% tip. Fantastic value compare to onsite but once again ordered way too much. We will learn about appetisers one day I promise!

Mannys looks amazing! Deffo now on our list for next year. Be good to hear what you think of Encantada Resort as we are staying in a Dibb townhouse there next year.

Ah Mannys! We first went on our trip in 2016, and again every year since. It’s firmly in our plans for this year too despite being on the QSDP. We love it.

Your snacks looked great today!

I’ll keep a look out for vouchers for cold stone 👍🏻

That fruit cup looks yummy, I could just eat that now. Looks so refreshing. Breadbox is definitely on my list now. Thanks

I’m blown away that you order starters in the US - they do all look fab of course but I can only imagine how much food was left. Did you take much ‘to go’?

Your universal snacks look great. Love that big pink donut.

Sounds like you’re having a fabulous time - keep it coming! X

Looks great food 👍
We made the same mistake at Coldstone creamery, way too much Ice cream, the amount of times I was saying “we could’ve shared that”. In fact I was saying that the whole trip. Looks like you are having a fab time 🙂

Shame it was a shared table at the minions breakfast, I don't think I'd have fancied that much either. I'm ok at Teppan Edo but prefer to have our own table at regular restaurants.

Kat
I does say on the booking about the tables but I didn’t read it properly

All very nice so far. Lovely big house. We are a bit far from the pool though. We have to drive.

It was good and only a universal snack credit. Breadbox I highly recommend.

VINELAND OUTLETS FOOD COURT

Dreaded shopping day, although it wasn’t too bad

Lunch was at the food court, 3 different venues for the four of us which took some coordination

Lily of course had to have the most boring one. Subway. Ham and cheese sub with cucumber. She had a meal so got milk as a drink and a cookies as a side but they gave her two. It was around $7

Kelly fancied something different so got hers from the Teriyaki grill so she went for noodles with orange chicken and some other chicken that I forgot to take a note off Around $12 with a large drink. She really enjoyed this.

Me and Evie went for Charley’s Philly CheeseSteak. We got Philly cheesesteaks with loaded fries. The fries had cheese, ranch and bacon. The subs were only the small ones but were a good size. I thought these were great. Evie only thought it was ok. I’d definitely get them again. With drinks it was around $23.

Not bad for a food court.

CULVERS 192

Kelly didn’t want a proper sit down evening meal which somewhat annoyed me but all was resolved when she agreed to Culvers located near us on the 192. I heard good things about it.

You could see it was a fairly new location as you drove in and was also busy which for me is a good sign.

We spent a few minutes to the side deciding what to order. The sever was very helpful though. Everything is cooked fresh to order and brought to the table.

Kelly and the girls all had the same. Crispy Chicken burgers as a meal which came with a drink and fries. Fries are crinkle cut. They all really enjoyed them. Kelly notes how you could tell it was freshly made. The kids had smoothies as their drinks.

I went for the Culvers Bacon deluxe double. This was really really good. Up there with the best quick service burger I’ve eaten.

A fantastic quick service burger location. Great value as well. Cost was $40.

I’m going to be raving about this place Five Guys, Shake Shack, move aside. There’s a new boss in town.
