We do try and catch up with you - fly to Tampa on July 22nd.
We fly home on the 22nd so my report can be like an extra countdown for you.

We arrived at POFQ last night and whilst we have nothing to compare it to, being our first trip, we are happy with the hotel so far.
That’s great to hear. Might bump into you once we get there. You’ll have loads of things better to do with your time just now than read my food report.

Thanks, feels like a lifetime ago since our Costa visit already.

Thanks. I love a wee sausage roll but it’s never the most photogenic starts 😂

Thanks. I wonder if I can start and end with a sausage roll, I’d be happy with that 😂

You never know, I never thought it would be us and it’s not like we’ll be doing it again. I’ll take it badly on the flight home being in the normal seats again.

It was nice, not sure I’d pay much more for it though, think it would be more of a bonus on the way back having extra luggage and a little extra space.

Better than the normal BA food, I’ll no get too excited though because meanie would never want to pay extra for that😂

Thanks. It was unexpected and only when I checked the gate on my app and noticed the seat numbers we’d been allocated had changed.

The earliest we’ve ever got to our hotel so we decided to do something a bit nicer tonight and headed to Bahama Breeze.

On the way up the road I reserved a table online which meant we were seated straight away.

Dh has a couple of Angry Orchards and I had 2 coconut monitors ( I love these because they are light and have a nice amount of sweetness). Ds had a strawberry lemon beeeze which was refreshing but a little sweet. He was shattered and the sugar perked him up a little.

They had sent me a voucher for $10 off if you spent $40 on food. There are so many good things on the menu that we decided just to order some appetisers and a main salad to share. Doesn’t sound very exciting but it was!

We ordered the appetiser portion of coconut shrimp which was so good.

Also the lobster and shrimp quesadillas. Very nice

Chicken jibaritos. These were very nice. The buttermilk chicken was really good and the sauce was awesome.

Chicken and fruit salad with mixed greens. This has to be the best salad I’ve ever had. I’d quite like to replicate this at home. It had strawberries, oranges and pineapples.

All this was excellent for sharing and just the right amount.

I thought this was good value considering we had 4 alcoholic drinks and were all pretty satisfied when we left.

On the way back down the road we stopped in at Walgreens for a selection of snacks.

This morning we’ve had a coffee and smoothie from Starbucks downstairs and a Krispy Kreme. The plan is ihop in a bit!
