Snacks

Krispy Kreme breakfast

Reactived our mug, plus a pizza pretzel and a jalapeño cheese pretzel.

It’s roasting so we enjoyed our snacks and drinks in the passholder lounge where we picked up our July buttons and an exclusive ap top for ds.

Ds is doing really well with his choices this time maggianos looks lovely .
I don’t think you are alone. Dh would certainly be the same.
Ds loves his food so much, cooking it, eating it, talking about it 😂

It was good. If you are in the mood for an Italian it might be worth a visit. Have you ever been to Vivos at citywalk, I thought the food there was excellent when we visited last year.

There is so much choice. 3 nights wasn’t long enough to do it all justice. Will be adding lots of offsite nights last year, just for the food 😂

It’s a great place to use the Landry’s card.

Thanks, I love the hard rock. You are at one of my other favourites though. Loved the contemporary so much at Christmas.

Can’t believe your already at HRH hope your having some nice cocktails at the pool
The Bellini at Maggianos looked really nice, that’s always on the list and we never get there-maybe this time!
Can’t remember what else they had other than seafood.
It’s so hot, we are in our room at HRH eating voodoo doughnuts and chilling after a roasting morning in the park.
That Bellini is my favourite cocktail so far.

Confisco Grill

I much prefer a table service in the universal parks for lunch as it’s never much more than a quick service but I’ve always found them to be better quality.

Dh had a bud, I had a Diet Coke and ds had a fanta.

The bread was served with honey butter.

Ds was happy to order off the kids menu as he likes the grilled cheese the last time and was happy to have this again.

Dh had the buffalo shrimp and chicken sandwich, he enjoyed this but perhaps not as much as I enjoyed it on our last visit.

I had the pad Thai, it didn’t look that big or that exciting when it arrived but it was so good! Very peanuty and not spicy. Ds also had some of this and thought it was great. I’d totally have it again.

I don’t think it was that bad value for a theme park meal and was all very nice.

Maggianos portions look huge! That pad Thai does look good- we are onsite at Universal for 2 nights for first time next month so closely following your Universal dining! 😃👍

Thanks

We were offsite for 9 nights last year and didn’t get through all the places I fancied eating.

They were massive.

Great onsite choices at universal. Which hotel are you at?

No haven’t tried Vivos, we only had one city walk meal in our plan and DD chose Bubba Gump.

Your pad thai looks great. Its always my go to meal when its on a menu. Totally agree with TS being a good lunch choice at Universal. We always end up at Mythos.
