Oh I’m loving the use of snack credits. I’ll have 22 - for just me... it may be a struggle but you’re giving me so many ideas.

Num num cookie - yum!

Dinner at La Hacienda San Angel - Epcot

We had an 8pm reservation and I knew some tables had a fireworks view and some didn’t. I’ve got illuminations scheduled loads so I didn’t bother to ask for one.

It’s a lovely place.

This was our view

Menu

I had a sangria and Dh had a beer. Ds had a Diet Coke

They brought chips and salsa to the table. These were very good.

We ordered the Queso fundido to start, this was really good and cheesy.

Ds had the shrimp tacos and loved these.

Dh had the pollo pastor. He enjoyed the chicken but wasn’t sure about some of the other stuff on his plate. I thought it was lovely.

I had the steak. The flavours were nice and it was cooked well but I don’t think I’d have it again, however, the corn mashed potatoes were amazing!

Just after main course illuminations started and they turn the lights off and pipe in the music. We didn’t have a perfect view but it was lovely.

For dessert ds and I had the empanada with apple and ice cream. This was gorgeous, so light and the ice cream was so creamy.

Dh had the chocolate cake with raspberry sauce. He loved it.

This would have been $170 but with the dining plan it was $14 plus the tip.

Spent a lovely morning catching up which led to procrastinating about how I’ll use our snack credits 😂. Enjoying the read as always. How are you finding French Quater? We love the size and feel of the resort but I find the food court a little limiting

It felt like a good choice for our first table service. I’m determined to get in as many illuminations as possible.

Yes it doesn’t seem to get much of a mention on here but it was really nice.

Great minds again... it felt like something different and we really liked it.

Thanks for reading, snack credits are hard as there is so much choice.
Loving the size of POFQ especially last night as you can be back in your room in minutes from the bus stop.
Not had the best luck with buses on the way to the parks yet but good luck on the return journeys.
Not spent much time in the resort yet but hope to do so this afternoon.
