Yes the shrimp was a winner, unfortunately my footwear issue is not yet resolved.
It will keep for another time. It took him about two hours twenty minutes, this is actually really long for us, it doesn’t normally take us more than ninety minutes, we have always been quite lucky before. |

We have never considered Morimoto Asia but the food looks really good so I think we would consider it next time. Asian food is good to share as you did. We ate that way regularly on our recent trip to Vietnam. That’s a benefit of not being on the dining plan and having to order a main and dessert.

Day 4: Spyglass Grill breakfast
This morning we were due to check out of Caribbean Beach Resort and into the Wilderness Lodge, where we will be for the rest of the trip. We decided the easiest thing to do would be to arrange for our luggage to be picked up by bell services and transferred whilst we would take the bus to the Magic Kingdom, spend our day there and check into the Wilderness Lodge when we were done.
So for the final meal at CBR we headed back down to the Spyglass Grill for breakfast. Nev decided to try the Breakfast Cuban after seeing mine from the previous day and I opted for the Cream cheese guava stuffed French toast, this comes with either bacon or fruit as a side. I meant to get fruit but the online ordering defaulted to bacon and I forgot to change it. We decided to bring these back to the room to eat. Nev enjoyed the Breakfast Cuban as much as I had the previous day, I knew for sure he would too. My french toast clearly did not transmit back to the room well, but it did not spoil my enjoyment. I was a bit worried it would be too sweet but it wasn’t at all. |

Morimoto Asia looks amazing, The whole family love Asian food. I’ve got it booked in for our last lunch and I’m determined to go as we’ve missed it in the past.

Day 4: Liberty Tree Tavern lunch
After a successful morning with nine fast passes and extra fast passes under our belts, we checked into Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch. We have not been here before and I selected it as I was keen to try a few new park based restaurants this trip.
We arrived ten minutes early and were told we would likely need to wait until our reservation time, but in fact we were called within two minutes and to our mortification, being unassuming folk, to a Cast Member fanfare and clapping which some guests joined in with. (I hasten to add, this is done for everyone, but it was something we were unprepared for). We were taken to a small section of the restaurant that I do not recognise from any of the photos I have seen, but we were both delighted with the table we were allocated, it was a lovely comfortable corner booth with padded cushions. After having just been stranded on horses on Prince Charming’s carousel for fifteen minutes during breakdown, these soft cushions were just what our middle aged bottoms required. We decided not to order mains but to instead order a few appetisers to share, in order to try a few different plates. We agreed upon the lobster fritters, the cheese dip and the loaded tavern fries. I am now struggling with my critique which I usually provide post photos. We unfortunately did not leave Liberty Tree Tavern thinking that was a great dining experience. But this is definitely not down to the food or the service, both were good. I think we just felt tired and bloated down to the choices we made. We thought a lunch of three starters would be quite light but these appetisers were enormous (obviously we left a lot) but we simply cannot comprehend how anybody could eat any of these three dishes as an appetiser in the normal sense. Eight lobster fritters, really? Anyway to critique each in turn. The loaded fries were good fries, Nev liked the brisket, me not so much but I didn’t mind a little bit. I would have preferred a crusty white bread with the cheese dip, rather than the malt bread that we received, however I realise that this was a throwback to the era and I did enjoy a couple of slices. The fritters were tasty, but I think a stretch to call them lobster and sweet corn fritters, we found very little of either, as can be seen in the one I have cut open. I don’t want to be harsh on LTT, we quite liked the ambience, it was nice to get a TS break from the theme park and the food and service wasn’t bad, but overall it just didn’t hit the spot with us. |

Such a shame about LTT I think sometimes the greasy food just gets too much xx

My favourite cuisine is Italian followed by Mexican and French but I like most things. Nev’s favourite is Chinese and we find pan Asian is what jointly we most enjoy. I am sure a family loving Asian food will find Morimoto a real treat.
Yes it was a shame, I wanted to have liked it better. Edited at 10:28 AM. |

Day 4: WL Old Faithful Club Lounge
After LTT lunch we picked up a FP for Peter Pan and then we decided to head over to Wilderness Lodge and get checked in. Our luggage arrived from CBR about the same time as we did, however we were very upset to find the hard shell Mickey suitcase we only bought in February and were using for the first time, had been flung around and was dented and scratched. We told concierge and they tried to source a replacement but could not, we were instead given a $200 voucher, well we were told this, I haven’t actually seen it yet.
On a more positive note, our upgraded magic bands were waiting for us. After a busy day and big breakfast and lunch, we decided to have a quiet night and cheese and biscuits for supper in the lounge. There were other savoury dishes on offer but I don’t like taking photos of buffets. |

Liberty Tree Tavern is nice but those starters do look massive, the mains were more normal but we shared a dessert (the famous ooey gooey toffee cake) and that had enough calories to run a marathon

Not good about your case. I've sadly heard a lot about damaged case recently. Make sure to check up about the $200. A nice light supper after the huge lunch, just what was needed I think.
I'm loving the magic bands X
