My mouth is watering at the Yachtsman. It narrowly missed out on being picked for our trip this year; that must be rectified next time. The mac n cheese looks particularly divine.
We also watched 98 degrees at Epcot! Which day were you there? We were there on our four park challenge day on 9th October.

Not as many as you would think! It had slipped his mind that you can have it for a snack credit in France, if he had remembered I'm sure there would have been many more.
I think I'd be doing the restaurant as disservice if I said that the rolls are the best part but they are worth going for alone. It really is as good as it looks, but we would probably only doing it on DxDP when we had plenty of credits. Oh no, somewhere for next time. We cancelled a few places this time too, I always see to regret that once we're home. I think I'd only do breakfast in the future, probably for a pre-park open breakfast. They had definitely got greedy at Be Our Guest but the fact they are full every day means they can get away with it I am really sad we never tried the fries with the tzatziki, I think I'd have liked them even better than the dips. I'm glad we agree on the potatoes! I agree that it has to be DDP only, I don't think I could justify the cost OOP. Thank you for reading! We were there on the 8th. We really wanted to go back again on the 9th but we had tickets for Animal Kingdom After Hours this night. Did you enjoy them? You should definitely do Yachtsman next time, I hadn't originally booked it but when I saw everyone else's reviews I just had to go. |

We did - we couldn’t believe how busy it was with people wanting to see them! We ended up just standing at the back but it was a good atmosphere. What did you think?
I think we will definitely try the Yachtsman next trip. It’s calling me!

Day 4
We started our day with our fourth piece of Unfinished Business, I was really pleased with the progress we were making. Bon Voyage Breakfast – Trattoria al Forno We had a 7.30am ADR, the Boardwalk was so peaceful at this time of the morning. I really like Bon Voyage breakfast – great character interaction, a varied menu and they bring the food to you. You can view the menu here: disneyworld.disney.go/en...l-forno/menus/ Since our last visit here they have stopped serving fresh fruit as a ‘starter’, which is a pity. First the pastries arrived, the presentation of these are a lot of fun; they are served in a frying pan. I can usually take or leave the pastries plates at Disney breakfasts but I love the one here. The chocolate twist was tastier than the Cheshire Cat tail and the turnover was delicious. Our server advised us that as well as a soft drink of our choice we could choose a speciality drink which would be included with the dining plan. I had a strawberry smoothie that was delicious, I don’t really like smoothies as I think the consistency is too think but this one was thinner, more akin to a milkshake. Flynn popped by. All of the characters here at fab and it was particularly fun watching the Princes interacting with the children at the other tables. Nik wanted to order the calzone as he had the last time but I told him no, he had to order something different for the report haha. Tangled Eggs Fresh-Mozzarella, Tomato-Basil Open-faced Omelet, Sunday Gravy, and Breakfast Potatoes served with Bacon or Sausage He chose bacon and was disappointed to find it was once again undercooked for us liking. We both really liked the breakfast potatoes. This omelette was lovely, it tasted so fresh and healthy. It doesn’t look it in the picture but it was a generous portion, all of the dishes here are – particularly in comparison to CRT. Right up to the last moment I was torn between a few dishes, finally the Royale Breakfast Oak-grilled Steak, Asparagus, Cheesy-Egg Torte, Fonduta, Breakfast Potatoes, Crispy Onions won out over the pancakes. Sadly, this didn’t hold up well against the CRT version. The potatoes and eggs were nice, as far as the fonduta but the steak was very tough and definitely needed more seasoning. The rest of the characters followed and then we waited, and waited, and waited for the cheque. I can never decide if I hate my drink not being replenished or waiting for the cheque more. We were keen to get on with our day so I was getting agitated. Eventually we covered the $100.10 cheque with our dining plan credits and charged a $19 tip to the room and headed off to the park. Although I wasn’t in love with my choice, I am still a big fan of this breakfast. It is a tough ADR to get if you don’t book it at 180 days so I’d definitely recommend booking in plenty of time if it takes your fancy. We are feeling a little Disney breakfasted out so I’m not sure if we’ll be back next year but never say never. Next, we lunch at Hollywood Brown Derby. |

We loved them! Seeing all these grown woman singing along and knowing the dance routines made me all emotional I wasn't a big fan of their but love a bit of nostalgia.
If you do do DxDP it would be rude not to eat at as many Signatures as possible |

IF we have the DDP again I’m going to be very tempted to try Yachtsman again. We have not been for a few years but I loved it. Your looked great.

Loving this so far Yachtsman is on my list for next year - I am not usually a signature person as I like my food pretty plain - but you can't go wrong with steak and potato!
Looking forward to reading the rest of this |
