Just seen that this is for vaccinated guests only. Interested to see how they are going to monitor those who have/haven't and what this means for children (are children being vaccinated in the US?)

From what i heard on Tim Trackers youtube channel masks are still going to be required when you are in a queue and on a ride and in the gift shop and restaurants. you are just no longer required to wear them walking round the parks. Also vaccinated people in the states also includes children as they are vaccinating under 16s right now.

They will probably rely on the goodwill and honesty. Iv not heard anywhere about the USA having a vaccination app. Would it be possible to share health records in the USA with so many health providers on one specific app.
Also will the recognise the Astra Zeneca jab most of the uk have had.

That's interesting to hear they are vaccinating children out there. I wonder how it would be managed when they allow international guests that may include children who are not offered vaccinations...

The US is only vaccinating children over 12. I guarantee there will be zero control over who is actually vaccinated. Our idiot governor has made it illegal for businesses to discriminate even if there was a system for verifying vaccine status. All we have is an easily forged paper card.

My 15 year old has only had her first dose and will probably want to wear a mask anyway so people don't think she is an anti mask Trump supporter. It really is that political here!
We are overnighting at Gaylord Palms with friends from SC, masks still required inside on property but will see how the land lies. I also think quite a few people will still wear masks for a while.

Have a great Memorial Day weekend

Mask free indoors is for vaccinated people only although in other words it is a free for all. They are not going to be able to regulate the vaccinated from the unvaccinated. Ron Deathsantis made laws against checking for vaccination certificates. The Anti Mask Trumpers and Anti Vaxxers are going to be happy. Think I will wait until everyone in the family is vaccinated before going to Florida.

The Orlando Sentinel have quoted Universal as saying they will not be monitoring vaccination status.

Masks no longer mandatory at Universal

Masks no longer required for fully vaccinated guests at Universal, Great news hopefully Disney follow in due course. Interestingly no proof of vaccine is required.
