I've spoken with the kids recently and they really don't mind staying in the airport hotel for the night, I actually think they would prefer it as it gives them a bit of time out of being around us adults and makes them feel grown up. They're really not bothered about AKL! I know right?!
What I might do though is ask Sylvia if she can pick them up from the hotel the next morning and then they can go straight to the villa from there and get settled in. It means they aren't hanging around all day as our flight doesn't land until 5 so it will be at least 6pm that we would be able to collect them.

Lovely updates and what a bargain with the flights! I love the agents attitude to that!

Hello everyone 👋

An exciting update, well for me at least 😂, we have finally booked the house on Anna Maria Island!

It took A LOT of searching to find the right size house for us all within a reasonable price. We are sharing with The Leans but as Jen is now bringing her boyfriend we needed at least a 5 bed and they come with quite a hefty price tag on AMI.

This little beauty is right on the canal and only 11 houses to the beach 🙌. It’s also within a short walking distance of Pine Avenue and my parents/sister and Bill & Sylv which will be really handy for any dinners or get togethers we have. We wanted a house big enough for entertaining the whole family and I think we’ve achieved that!

As it’s directly on the canal we will definitely be hiring Paddleboards and kayaks and if I’m not on the water or beach you’ll find me propping up the tiki bar with a cocktail or sleeping in the hammock 😁

It has 5 bedrooms plus a den with a sofa bed so each child will have their own bedroom/sleeping area.



















For one week it is a whopping £4700 but we will obviously be splitting the cost and believe it or not is actually one of the cheaper ones, we could have easily doubled our budget 😳

So that is everyone’s accommodation for both Orlando and AMI booked now which is a huge weight off my mind!

I am seeing my sister & Co and parents next weekend so will be doing some more planning as it’s the first time we’ve all seen each other since December! So will hopefully have another update soon with our Disney part of the holiday including the most important element, the daily plan and what snacks I’ll be trying, the list is fairly comprehensive already 🙈
