I need to stop googling Disney snacks as my list is long enough already 😆
Millers is a firm favourite of ours and is always our first day dinner when we’re in Orlando! Oh great, another one to add to my list 😬😉 Panda Express is great and is a much cheaper option for dinner! So filling too |

Oh Alicia, so many amazing updates! You are ultra organised and I am so impressed as to how well you are juggling everyone’s flights and accommodation. Not going to lie, I’m a bit nervous about Genie + but I am just so pleased to be going on holidays. 😆 I am so excited for your Orlando Hen Do 🎉🥂🍾💖👰🏼 I love Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar and I will pack a handbag pretzel 🥨 just in case we need some carbs 😉 Your Honeymoon Itinerary is fab, plenty of time together and some great solo bits too - excellent time to shop 😍 I feel like time is whizzing by, it will be sunshine, sand and shopping before we know it! 💝🛍🤩 xx

How are we in July already?!
We can finally say we go on holiday and get married next month 😬 I have done a lot of finalising of details over the past few weeks and I think we are almost there with our plans 🙌 TICKETS Airboat ride I’ve booked a 30 minute airboat ride with Boggy Creek through Viator. Doing this will be my sister & Co, mum & dad and me. The price per person was £26 so very reasonable, there’s free cancellation too with the balance not due until the week before. Kennedy Space Centre Only my sister and Co are doing this as we went 5 years ago with my parents. They have also booked a lunch with an astronaut for my space mad nephew William and my BIL Ollie. They will be going on our second day when we’re driving to Tampa to swap out our car and pick up the marriage licence. Disney This was where it all got a bit complicated! Doing the Disney Parks will be myself, my sister and Co and mum & Dad. Possibly my MIL Sylv too. We were originally doing one day in each park but my sister decided at the last minute she wanted to drop one of the Disney parks and add on a day in Typhoon Lagoon instead 🤦. She couldn’t decide between forgoing Hollywood Studios or Epcot (MK and AK were non negotiable) but as William is Star Wars mad I said he had to see Galaxy’s Edge so unfortunately Epcot got the cull! Mum said she was only interested in going to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom and my Dad decided to just do AK and Typhoon Lagoon. So I needed to buy 4 different types of ticket! Undercover Tourist was the best seller for what we needed so we bought The Kiplings - 4 x 3 day base tickets plus waterpark add on Myself - 3 day base ticket Mum - 2 day base ticket Dad - 1 day base ticket and will buy entry to Typhoon Lagoon on the gate as it’s actually cheaper this way. When I went to add our dates onto the booking I noticed that mums ticket would expire after 3 days from her first visit as it’s for only two parks so I’ve had to move our itinerary around slightly. We originally had AK on Sunday which is our first day and MK the following Thursday which wouldn’t work, so the new amended first week looks like Day 1 - Saturday 20th Flight LGW-TPA - Jim & I Day 2 - Sunday 21st Animal Kingdom - The Kiplings, Me, Mum & Dad Day 3 - Monday 22nd Kennedy Space Centre - The Kiplings Swap out hire cars, get wedding license & Ellenton Outlets - Me, Jim, Hope & Sam Day 4 - Tuesday 23rd Magic Kingdom - The Kiplings, Mum & I Day 5 - Wednesday 24th Boggy Creek Airboat ride - The Kiplings, Me, Mum & Dad Day 6 - Thursday 25th Hollywood Studios - The Kiplings & Me Hen night @ Disney Springs Day 7 - Friday 26th Typhoon Lagoon - The Kiplings & Dad Villa day - Rest of the fam I’m hoping that is the last change to the ever changing plan! SHOPPING Now it wouldn’t be a Smithlane trip report without any mention of shopping! I have enlisted the services of the wonderful Debbie at When You Wish Gifts. This is such a genius idea and let’s you go shopping ahead of time which is especially good for any sales that can be taken advantage of. So far I have ordered Black & Gold Candlesticks, Linen tray and faux Eucalyptus plant - Target Anti bacs - B&BW Tiered Tray - Etsy Aqua & Coral Adirondack chair cake toppers - Etsy Red truck and White truck - Amazon This one for mini Christmas trees in the back This one for Pumpkins! Candles - Antique Candle Co. We still have over 5 weeks to go so I’m sure a few more purchases will be made! WEDDING I have finally finished putting together the faux flower arrangements that will be attached to the wooden arbour we’ll be getting married under. The Sandbar provide an ivory piece of material that will be draped around it but I saw this photo on Pinterest and thought it would be nice to try and recreate it. You know when you have one of those marvellous ideas but shortly after starting, regretting it?! These have so far cost me over £100, about 100 hours of my life and at least 100 more grey hairs 😂 Thank god we have 2 suitcases each to take with us as they’re quite large! I have also finished putting together some gift bags for everyone that I’m going to put on each chair at the ceremony. These are nothing amazing but in each I’ve bought a fan, tissues - more for sweat than tears 😉, a B&BW anti bac, a pack of Mentos, a small glass bottle with cork lid to fill up with sand from the beach and I’ll get the Sandbar to put a cold bottle of water with each one too. The only thing I have left to do is find someone who is half decent at calligraphy to write everyone’s names on the oyster shells. My handwriting is terrible so it’s one thing I can’t do myself! I’m hoping my friends daughter will come to the rescue! Jim has ordered his and the groomsmen outfits. The original plan was to get Hawaiian shirts from Tommy Bahama but they’re not cheap especially when buying 4 of them so I compromised and found a lovely salmon pink shirt from Charles Tyrwhitt and stone shorts from Ralph Lauren for them all. I think that is all for now, the countdown is ticking along nicely. I feel strangely calm about it all at the moment but ask me again in a few weeks and I’m sure It’ll be a different answer 😂 |

Fantastic news on all your plans. You did well to sort out all the different types of Disney tickets. Your flowers look fab. I hope you've got a whole lot of bubble wrap to pack them in to protect them in the case.
Your countdown is skipping along nicely now. Just 5 weeks to go and you're off! Amazing xx

Alicia, you are so super organised! Your ticketing planning is exceptional- I’m not sure I could have figured all of that out so successfully 😆 I love your flowers and they will be a million percent worth it once you see them in place - the colours are gorgeous. At least you won’t have to worry about the boys shirts (more time for Target shopping!). Time is just flying by, it is super exciting! Xx

Thank you AM! I did buy the shoes, hurrah 🙌. Literally every pair of shoes from Dune apart from them went in the sale 🙄, but I managed to bag a 10% discount so brought them down to a more respectable price 😬.
I’m gutted you’re not going to be out whilst we are, maybe we could arrange a U.K. meet up with us all? Cocktails somewhere! I’m just on the train on my way home from York visiting Michelle so I don’t mind travelling! I’ll take plenty of photos of Sean on F&F, it’ll be worth it just to see his reaction in the queue 😆 I’m a huge Dom fan too 🙈 Thanks Emma! It’s a bit too easy shopping via Debbie 🥴. I’ve had to start a list of what I’ve bought so I don’t get the shock of my life when I see it all 😂 Aren’t the trucks adorable? I think they were $35 each? I’ve just ordered a turquoise one from Michael’s which was a bargain at $11.99! I can’t believe we’re only just over a month away now, the time is just running away! Thanks so much 😊 |

I popped an email over about one of your packages on the 7th Alicia, not sure if you'd seen it or not? I can resend it if you haven't x
